OUR STORY
Glenn and Kevin met in the summer of 1982 and became great friends surfing the East Coast of the US together. After long days enjoying the beauty of the Eastern shoreline as they surfed, they would often eat grandma’s favorite seafood dishes. A love for the ocean and southern American seafood was born in both of them.
This friendship grew even though they launched their own careers and grew families. The memories of those summer afternoons never faded. Soon their memories lead them to explore opportunities with a business they had always dreamt of. This love for the ocean culminated in Glenn and Kevin going into business together. They purchased Skrimp Shack with grand plans to share their love of American Seafood around the world.
The term Skrimp being a southern variation of shrimp reflects that Skrimp Shack is a true American Seafood Kitchen. They gave the brand a facelift, added new dishes, upgraded the menu and launched internationally. Their love for surfing and the ocean is evident in Skrimp Shack stores where you will find surf boards and ocean themed designs. Their vision is to bring the experience of a surfing vacation worldwide.
From the many years spent in the ocean surfing and dining at the beach, Glenn and Kevin knew great seafood and were impressed by Skrimp Shack’s remarkable menu.
When the opportunity came to purchase the brand they both jumped at it!
Glenn and Kevin continue to surf together, eat seafood, and now have plans to grow the Skrimp Shack brand to reflect their values of influencing people and enjoying the salt water life.
